{"id":630342,"date":"2024-11-06T00:28:11","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T00:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/iso-96242019\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T00:28:11","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T00:28:11","slug":"iso-96242019","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/iso\/iso-96242019\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO 9624:2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies the mating dimensions for thermoplastic flange adapters and corresponding loose backing flanges intended to be used in thermoplastic piping systems for the conveyance of fluids under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>It applies to flange adapters and loose backing flanges for use with pipes with nominal outside diameters (<i>d<\/i><sub>n<\/sub>) from 16 mm to 2 500 mm and nominal pressures up to 25 bar[1] (PN 25).<\/p>\n<p>This document specifies the dimensions of the flange adapters intended to be used for:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014          butt fusion piping systems;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014          socket fusion piping systems;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014          adhesive jointed piping systems.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE 1    For specific connections with dimensions (e.g. <i>d<\/i><sub>n<\/sub>450 or <i>d<\/i><sub>n<\/sub>630) not covered in this document, or specific equipment (butterfly valves), specific solutions are available on the market.<\/p>\n<p>This document is applicable to loose backing flanges made from metal, thermoplastics, or a combination of metal and thermoplastics.<\/p>\n<p>This document also provides information on gaskets and gives general recommendations on correct assembling practices.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE 2    Industrial applications are not covered by this document.
