Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1 This test method covers the determination of the apparent viscosity of hydrocarbon resins having apparent viscosities up to 2,000,000 millipascal seconds (mPa\u00b7<\/span>s) (Note 1) at temperatures up to 300\u00b0<\/span>C (572\u00b0<\/span>F).<\/p>\n Note<\/span> 1\u2014The SI unit of (dynamic) viscosity is the pascal second. The centipoise (cP) is one millipascal second (mPa\u00b7<\/span>s) and is frequently used as a viscosity unit.<\/p>\n 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.<\/p>\n 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
