{"id":284764,"date":"2024-10-19T19:16:47","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T19:16:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-150092016\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T16:06:42","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T16:06:42","slug":"bs-en-iso-150092016","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-150092016\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 15009:2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard specifies a method for quantitative gas-chromatographic determination of volatile aromatic hydrocarbons, naphthalene and volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in soil.<\/p>\n<p>This International Standard is applicable to all types of soil.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE\n <\/div>\n<p>In the case of unsaturated peaty soils, absorption of the extraction solution may occur.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The lower limit of quantification is dependent on the equipment used and the quality of the methanol grade used for the extraction of the soil sample.<\/p>\n<p>Under the conditions specified in this International Standard the following limits of quantification apply (expressed on basis of dry matter):<\/p>\n<p>Typical limit of quantification when using GC-FID:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons: 0,1&nbsp;mg\/kg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Typical limit of quantification when using GC-ECD:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Volatile halogenated hydrocarbons: 0,01&nbsp;mg\/kg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lower limits of quantification for some compounds can be achieved by using mass spectrometry (MS) with selected ion detection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Soil quality.
