This British Standard specifies tests and requirements for radial-field impregnated-paper-insulated cables and accessories in which, during normal operation, a gas pressure exceeding 1.2 MPa (12 bar) gauge is applied internally, i.e. with the gas in direct contact with the insulation.<\/p>\n
It also specifies tests for cables and accessories intended for use in systems with a nominal voltage not exceeding 275 kV between phases.<\/p>\n
