BS&nbsp;EN&nbsp;12620:2002+A1 covers aggregates having an oven-dried particle density greater than 2.00&nbsp;Mg\/m\u00b3 (2&nbsp;000&nbsp;kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>) for all concrete, including concrete conforming to BS&nbsp;EN&nbsp;206-1:2000+A3 in roads and other pavements and for use in precast concrete products.<\/p>\n<p>It also covers recycled aggregate with densities between 1.50&nbsp;Mg\/m<sup>3<\/sup> (1&nbsp;500&nbsp;kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>) and 2.00&nbsp;Mg\/m<sup>3<\/sup> (2&nbsp;000&nbsp;kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>) with appropriate caveats and fine recycled aggregate (<i>D<\/i> =&nbsp;4&nbsp;mm or less) with appropriate caveats.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE Lightweight aggregates for concrete are covered by BS&nbsp;EN&nbsp;13055-1.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Aggregates &#8211; Aggregates for concrete.
