NFPA 1961, Standard for Fire Hose, provides the minimum requirements for the design and construction of all new fire hoses. The significantly revised 2020 edition introduces criteria for the examination of attack hoses, specifically newly developed radiant test methods, as well as the definition of, and requirements addressing booster hoses, and provisions for consumer-facing friction loss design test results.<\/p>\n
