This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the requirements with regard to the certification procedure and quality control system of products peculiar to precast concrete products.

The structure of this Standard is the same as that of the general guidance on a third-party certification system for products specified in JIS Q 1001 (hereafter referred to as "general guidance on certification system"), and the matters to be special cases among the requirements specified in the said general guidance on certification system are specified in this Standard based on characteristics of the industrial products concerned.

This Standard is to be used together with JIS Q 1001
