This section applies to the tantalum electrolytic capacitors listed below, for use in equipment for telecommunication and in electronic devices employing similar techniques:
- Plain foil, liquid electrolyte.
- Etched foil, liquid electrolyte.
- Sintered anode, liquid electrolyte.
- Sintered anode, solid electrolyte.
Specific tests and requirements of Sections 1 and 2 which are applicable to tantalum electrolytic capacitors. Prescribes the test schedule, giving the specific conditions of test and the initial and final measurements as required by Sections 1 and 2.
